Having been on a number of food tours in SE Asian countries, I had set my own benchmark. Rajiv totally exceeded it, we were collected at our hotel at 2:30 pm and didn't return until 10:00. We tried a total of 32 different dishes during the day. Highlights were the rickshaws in old Delhi, the spice market, the Sikh temple( a beautiful experience)dinner on rajivs car bonnet and finally a mango ice cream at India gate on the way home. Not cheap , but worth every cent/ rupee

This food tour and cooking class was one of my best experiences in Delhi. I got to learn about the spices and common cooking techniques used in the Indian kitchen and Raj, the chef teaching me, encouraged me to try to get a hang on the spices and experiment a bit. A great introduction to cooking Indian food!
I did the food tour on the same day, which was also a great experiences. I never would've found most of the places we visited on my own and learn about the dishes I tried.
All in all, I had a great time.

This food tour was the best thing we did in New Delhi and an absolute must do there. You will love it if you enjoy exploring new cuisines. There were a lot of delicious dishes from a large number of places and we liked all of them. That amazing ice-cream and pakoras are still fresh in my mind. In addition to food, visiting some lesser known places like spice market and hidden streets was fun too. We could have never visited those places or managed to find that kind of food on our own.
